World Wide Photo Walk Day Comes To Brunswick!

On Saturday we had roughly 30 photo walkers gather in Brunswick, Maryland. We met at 8 AM at Beans In The Belfry to start our walk. After a few minutes of chatting, comparing gear and getting coffee to start the day, we headed out. I started out by shooting the buildings of historic downtown Brunswick with my wide angle lens.
I ran into my neighbor and his friend out front of the local greasy spoon, Mommer’s Diner. My neighbor’s friend was proud to show off his tattoos for the camera.
ITowards the end of the walk, I ventured towards the C+O Canal Towpath. and shot some pictures of the flowers in bloom. Fellow Brunswick photographer, Kelly Putz was kind enough to point out a monarch butterfly on a flower.
After the walk we met up back at Beans for coffee, discussion and to conduct the monthly meeting of The Brunswick Photographer’s Guild. The walk was a success. Everyone had a positive experience and enjoyed the walk, as well as the opportunity to chat with fellow local photographers.

Kristy And Steve Are In Love

I had a chance to spend time with + photography Kristy and Steve at Hagerstown Park the other week.

World Wide Photo Walk Day – Tips & Info

At the time of this post we have 23 registered photo-walkers for World Wide Photo Walk Day! Those that are attending are encouraged to register & join us. There is no cost!
For those that have signed up, here are a few tips that will help us make the walk a success…
- Don’t Forget To Bring Your Camera
Personally I’m going to bring two lenses, one camera body and my camera bag. - Be Prepared For Rain
I’ll have an umbrella and a bag to cover my camera. There are a ton of great indoor spots to check out in the event of rain…so I’ll be there either way! - The Self-Explanatory Stuff
Be safe, wear comfortable clothes, stay hydrated…and have fun! - Come For The Walk, Stay For The Meeting
Photowalkers not familiar with the Brunswick Photographer’s Guild are encouraged to stay for our Monthly Meeting, which will be held immediatley after the meeting at 10am.
