I had the pleasure of shooting Kersti and Jim’s engagement portraits at Tarara Winery the other week. We also managed to squeeze in a bit of time for a wine tasting and a picnic!

I raced home Monday to look at the pics with Jim and my parents. They are awesome!! We made a mad dash to make some prints. I have heard nothing but great comments about the shots! We made the save the date cards last night and will come in about a week or so!

I’ve partnered up with friend and fellow photographer Rehan Bashir to offer an Intro to Portable Off-Camera Lighting Workshop. This workshop is perfect for photographers who are looking to expand their skill set by dipping their feet into the waters of portable, off-camera lighting. Topics include:
- the tools (radio triggers, light stands, strobes and whatnot)
- the technology (TTL vs manual)
- light modifiers
- using a single strobe
- using two strobes
